You recognize the need to automate the process of generating Capital Assets Inventory (CAI) reports and graphics, and maintain the graphics and data for future use (required at VA Medical Centers).
The CAI module can help do this for you by maintaining the space driver information for reporting data relating to the level of square footage use by each facility. Once the space assignment data is entered and kept updated, the CAI module will generate a summary report and a color-coded set of floor plans graphically showing the assignments. In addition, the CAI module will maintain the numerical reports and associated graphic distribution maps indefinitely in an archive file, which will enable the retrieval and analysis at a later date.
