Bureau of Consumer Finance Protection (BCFP)

Implemented the CAFM software platform for the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (BCFP). The CAFM provides functional integration across various business processes based on a common facility information database. BCFP is focused on optimizing the utilization of facility space and major resources to meet the demands of an expanding workforce. Major areas include:

Scope

  • Visibility of space utilization based on floor plans

  • Enterprise wide capability to submit and track work requests and room reservations for all sites

  • Facilitate move management based on space inventory and employee requirements

  • Provide a comprehensive asset management ability based on location and condition

  • Optimize space utilization using hoteling and scheduling capabilities; and enable a portfolio perspective on all property owned and leased by BCFP

Modules implemented: As-Builts, Asset Management, Employee Move Management, Maintenance PM, Projects Management, Real Property, Scheduling, Space, Sustainability/Energy, Work Order, Web Services, System Administration, User Preferences & Reporting

U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO)

Implemented the integrated workspace management software for the US Government Accountability Office (GAO). The space management software provides functional integration across various business processes based on a common facility information database. The zLinkFM platform replaced an existing IBM Tririga legacy IWMS system. In addition, we have replaced their Agile Quest Hoteling and Reservation system and implemented the zLinkRes Reservation System on a FedRAMP Microsoft AZURE Cloud as a SaaS service that supports several thousand users at GAO HQ and Regional Offices. Major areas include:

Scope

  • Establish a space management environment customized and configured for GAO needs

  • Enterprise wide robust reporting capability to conduct in-depth analysis and metrics

  • Facilitate move management based on space inventory and employee requirements

  • Dynamic linkage with CAD and BIM drawings

Executive orders have required executive branch agencies to establish asset management plans, measure performance, and prioritize actions to ensure the effective management of federal property assets through their entire facility lifecycle. zLink, Inc. has continued to help Government Agencies consolidate their Design Drawings and Documents, infrastructure systems, assets maintenance and Capital Planning, and lease management into a fully integrated system that will empower their staff with agile and innovative features to improve operational efficiencies and accomplish their mission.

Veteran’s Administration – VA Long Beach Healthcare System

As part of an on-going project for VA Long Beach Healthcare System, zLink is implementing an Information System that provides for the maintenance and up-date of facilities operations and related graphic and data for hundreds of users over a region-wide Intranet.

Scope

  • Create as-built architectural plans

  • Verify architectural elements

  • Create space utilization database

  • Develop facilities management applications

Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, Spokane, WA

zLink developed and implemented a drawing-centric Integrated Workspace Management System (IWMS) for the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA that covers four facilities with 422,050 square feet of space. The system is used to record work requirements, track the status of work, and analyze the recorded data to manage the work, produce reports, and help control costs. In addition, the system provides Space Planning, utilization and management; a reservation platform for Conference Rooms and unassigned space; assets inventory tracking and management; work order management; Capital Improvement Project tracking, and a robust decision support and reporting capability.

VA Roseburg Healthcare System, Roseburg, OR

zLink implemented the zLinkFM Integrated Workspace Management System (IWMS) for managing space utilization, reporting on the Capital Asset Inventory (CAI), and creating a repository of As-Built drawings to support maintenance and regulatory compliance. A survey of the VA Roseburg Healthcare System facilities was done to create an accurate set of drawings and space utilization database. VA Roseburg HCS comprises over 750,000 sq. ft. of space. After the field verifications and CAD work was complete, all the drawings were polylined by zLink so that accurate square footage could be calculated after uploading them into zLinkFM.
