Maynard, Massachusetts – zLink , a leading provider of Integrated Workplace and Facility Management Systems software and services, wins the contract for their zCAS™ Condition Assessment Software platform to service NYCSCA’s annual condition assessment survey for 900 NYC schools. The conditions data will be used to support annual Maintenance and Capital budgets. The team is led by WSP / Louis Berger
zLink has worked with WSP / Louis Berger implementing NYCSCA’s current Integrated Building Conditions Assessment System (zCAS™) to fundamentally improve the efficiency of their ability to conduct assessments, collect the resulting data, and facilitate the Capital and Operating Budget development for 900 schools in the New York City area. The analysis includes a specific set of major building systems, sub-systems and components for related assets. The zCAS™ better serves the planning and maintenance requirements for the schools throughout the year.

- Establishing accuracy of condition assessment information collection
- Tracking and maintaining assessment information related to major school assets
- Improved efficiency of several on-going inspection processes
- Improve information exchange among various stakeholders
- Implement a solution based on new cost-effective technologies
